Lucas Alm, RA, LEED Green Associate

Lucas is a registered architect and the principal of ALM Design Studio. He has over 20 years of construction and design experience acquired from all stages of building process, from architecture to planning to carpentry to fabrication. Combining technical expertise and real-world experience, Lucas brings an integrated perspective to his projects — helping the collaboration run smoothly and ensuring the results are complete, on time and on budget. His training as a designer and artist yields solutions that are simple and beautiful.

Lucas teaches Architecture Design as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. He is currently coordinating and teaching courses in support of affordable net-zero housing in the Twin Cities. Lucas is also a member of the board of directors at the Minnesota Green Roofs Council.

Hank Butitta

Hank brings practical hands-on experience and advanced technical skills to his work with ALM Design Studio.

He recently received his Masters in Architecture degree at the University of Minnesota and converted a bus as his Master’s Final Project. Hank Bought a Bus.

In addition to his architecture practice, Hank pursues an array of projects from building custom furniture to machining molds for commercial glass-blowers.
